Places

I lived in the Bronx, NY for the first six years of my life and spent the rest of my childhood in the suburb of Spring Valley, NY. I then lived in two of the greatest cities in the world—New York and San Francisco—before moving to Chapel Hill, NC, “The Southern Part of Heaven,” in 1998.

Passions

Spending time with family and friends; reading (anything from novels to nonfiction and memoirs); dancing; traveling (last big trip was to Argentina); seeing dance concerts, music concerts, and Broadway musicals; and following both Bruce Springsteen and Jackson Browne as they perform in concert around the country. Completing the New York Times online puzzles—crossword, mini-crossword, Wordle, Connections, Strands and Pips—every day.
